Assuming you have Titanic Rage (which you usually will in AoE content)
Avatar -> TR -> Bladestorm -> OF

Avatar will auto-OF and trigger Enrage/WW buff, TR will buff your OF damage, BS will do BS things, OF will blast and refresh buffs

you can use CB -> Rampage after Bladestorm if you prefer; the sims don't like delaying OF, but that's mostly a sim-alignment thing; in more practical content where you're not using everything strictly on cooldown every 45/90s, you have a little more leeway; but if you'd rather go for max burst as fast and powerfully as possible, just go straight to OF

the whole point of lag tolerance is to give you a buffer between inputs to account for latency (the time it takes for your computer to talk to the server); latency isn't always completely consistent though, and other factors like physical actuation time also come into play

Setting it too low is just as bad, if not worse, than having it too high, and you should never turn it off completely

well, skills that use the global typically, not always, but typically cant be macroed together because when the macro sees the first ability on cooldown it simply wont progress to the second ability

You can use a cast sequence whic would require you to hit the button twice

but having access to some of the abilities seperately has value. you may have time to cast an Odyns but want to hold avatar.

For instance, I often send Odyns/roar in m+ but hold avatar/storm

I think a lot of people macro avatar and roar. I personally don't.

But not always 100% applicable to the individual situations.

/castsequence reset=30 Piercing Howl, Hamstring

is just how simple it would be. 30 might be a bit long on the reset and those are just sample abilities.

And for cast sequences you just have to jam the button until you get to the reset condition. In the sample case just a simple timer from last button pressed.

But i would suggest eventually you move away from a macro like that. like I said, having access to the individual cooldowns has value and can be leveraged for more damage.

problem with this macro is that once you cast Hamstring, it will reset to Piercing Howl; it won't just remain on Hamstring until the 30s reset period is over

you can setup cast sequence macros to reduce the number of different keybinds needed, but the failure point is they're simply not as flexible as keeping things separate. The only one I use is to make sure Anvil (trinket) is cast in between the GCD rather than delaying it

Most abilities that enrage you, enrage before the damage event. Be it Rampage or Odyn's Fury. Not 100% sure about the BT one, but I presume so

Pressing avatar procs OF and that gives enrage

But each instance increases everything after triggered

we should spear first to increase the damage of the OF procced by avatar, but we should avatar before spear so spear does more damage

But I do get the thoughts you are floating

1: spear doesnt guarantee a damage increase, while avatar does
2: OF doesn't do all of its damage instantly, you can macro avatar and spear together, spear will have a short travel time, but a big part of the OF damage will still be in spear

And since I mainly pvp these days, I can't perfectly follow what pve does and feel like I need to figure it out to make sense of how to make mosts of what I have at any given time

and not just small mistakes like accidentally spending a s3 2p on bloodthirst, but things like avatar before charge, legendary in the middle of their cooldowns, instantly pressing avatar and OF at the same time

PvP got its own prio opener, to minmax windows and dont care as much about overall DPS. Jump to #pvp and they are usually very helpful getting things optimised
