this is really what it comes down to - the cloak is very mediocre as far as cantrip items go, but it's still extra damage

• unless you're running content where incoming damage actually matters (e.g. pushing M+ to the point where one-shots are more of a concern than absentmindedly standing in bad), then of course there's a good reason not to go for it

Doesn't mean it needs to be prioritized, you could definitely go for Broodkeeper ring first and save the cloak for last, but at the end of the day, it's still some amount of extra damage

Go to warcraftlogs and check the stats, I do an avg of 450k dps overall at 510 ilvl, bosses I am usually around 250-300k. I presume ppl with 520 ilvl are around 500-600k and 300-350k st

Overall varies wildly depending on group comp and key level / route / pull sizes; at 523 ilvl I’ve had 550k+ and <450k and everything in between
