If I recall correctly, and this is only going to go back to SL, SL S1 was arms in both raid and M+ until fury was buffed mid season, and took over for M+, SL S2 was arms for raid, and fury for m+, SL S3/4 was fury in both raid and m+, DF S1 was just equally bad for both specs until the .5 patch - still think both were even, S2 was arms for raid and fury for m+, S3 was fury in both until arms got buffed in .5 - then arms in raid, and now S4 is arms in both. I would say that as a person who prefers fury, I've been well taken care of over the last 2 expacs, i just wish that the m+ gap was not so wide

That would be a dumb buff. Part of the buff needed to be to buff the new tier set.. otherwise we would still have the issue where s3 tier set gaps your new higher ilvl tier until you get all mythic track tier pieces

Fury's BiS profile actually gained ~3.8% DPS with these changes (slightly more if you don't have all the same Augury/ring/legendary/etc stuff), which is about +15k DPS - still ~6% behind Arms, but better than it initially appeared
