Fun fact, SMF is not that far behind TG that it is pointless. Before Legendary got announced, we played with the idea of SMF actually becoming a close to viable option.

So till you get Legendary, just follow the sims. The power of Annhilator swings and weap procs are always underestimated You could just play SMF till you get orange stick, for fun at a very minor loss - no matter what

for low item level there are ilvl brackets on logs which you can use to see how you are doing against people with similar gear
