Is there any general guidance or tips for how to play around the Fyr'alath on-use in aoe packs in keys? I'm curious how it impacts our aoe "opener" assuming all CD's and Fyr are available before the pack is pulled.

Get through the entire OF Avatar window and then use the on-use as long as a target will not die during the channel. The on-use damage doesn’t change, it just splits if more targets, so as long as you finish the channel, you’re getting the max dps

Also, if you do all your cooldowns first, you’ll have the frenzy haste buff and the channel will be really quick

I don’t think it matters because using recklessness and might of the ocean and popping all the instant damages of OF, Thunderous roar, avatar, while getting the crit buff from recklessness for your empowered BB will outdo the on-use

Ex: You will hit for 1 mil on 1 target or 200k each on 5 targets, the count doesn’t matter

To me, it seems more pertinent to maximize the damage amp of Avatar in your recklessness window, vs putting fyralath on CD. Also, the on-use will benefit from the passive marks put on targets during the cd window

I'm curious what should be expecting for my Sim dps and actual in game dps to look like at il 480
I'm a classic oldie player just casually playing retail doing m+ and lfr so learning to stat and gear was alittle bit of a curve but am figuring out how to Sim better and I have changed my dmg quiet alot with that but still unsure if what I'm sitting at is good
Right now on quick Sim I'm sitting at 196k almost 197k dps
And for in game I know I'm not a going to get near that nlcause im still cleaning up my play with some mechanics, I'm able to sit around 140k-160k on bosses and for good trash pulls cause I stagger my coolies to always try to have something running I'm sitting around 170k-230k after initial bursts and my overall is around 140k-160k
But knowing what i should be expecting in dps would help then I know I need to fiqure what's wrong
