Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. The part I find that's interesting is that it's not a linear scale - it goes up by ~3% per week and then suddenly jumps from 30 to 100%

or even on Mythic, the chance is low each week and then after 6 weeks or whatever, the game is suddenly like "ok fuck it, here you go"

part of that is probably from whatever combined drop chance from lower difficulties (mythic chance + heroic + normal + lessers) they use, so it's not actually 30%, but it's still intriguing nonetheless
