Stat weights are easy to misunderstand. If you want to figure out what enchants/gems you should use, Top Gear is used for that
If you are curious of what gear to farm, you can use Droptimiser to get a good idea of upgrades

Basically stat weights are mostly just used to get a snapshot of the values of different stats at your current gear setup, but it doesn't necessarily mean that you should follow it for gearing. Top Gear basically takes all the weights into account and compares all the items, enchants and gems and figures out the best setup and cuts out the middle work
