You ideally want to keep Odyns Fury on cd at all times, since your Bloodthirst and Bloodbath crits will reduces its cd (if you have 4 tier set). But also the dot from Odyns fury is pretty good, so if you have Odyns Fury and Avatar both ready, you use Odyns Fury first, wait 4 seconds for the dot to expire and then you use Avatar

So basically every X seconds your Bloodthirst has a 100% chance to crit, giving you a predictable periodic send that you can guarantee will always trigger CSHB
