After watching season 3, Fury is mediocre.
Even now, ST DPS is in the low tier, and even if you have all the items, your ST DPS will be in the low to mid tier.
MT DPS is weaker than in Season 2 because Anni is not strong in MT. Additionally, skills using the WW buff only deal damage to 5 targets, and there is no Ravager to compensate for this.
The advantage of Season 2 was the short cooldown of powerful skills (Reck+rav) and strong instantaneous AoE DPS.
Now ST is weak and MT is also weak.
Will it change if I get a legendary weapon?

I mean no reason (at the moment) to not send your free wyrm crest from the fyrakk quest with your spark for an embellished slot, then use the aspect crests on upgrades instead of crafting. In a few weeks though crest caps will be irrelevant and you can recraft with an enchanted aspect crests
