heya, rotation question: when one can rampage (not rage capped) after slam or WW, do you rampage to get a BB or do you first BT to maximize BT/BB usage?

if u want any tips on this i would suggest making sure you guys 1. do not let orbs hit the boss. if you get any id prob just wipe tbh. also we ended up 6 healing instead of 5 on heroic and it made it so much easier. the fight seems like a dps race but tbh its a do the ball mechanic and stay alive and it falls over

I mean this particular T2/T4 build, combined with Odyns Fury, and Annihilator in my opinion just does not flow well as previous 2 iterations(S1/S2). Its a gameplay thing for me, while I think in general it will do more burst damage, and be more viable in large pull scenarios (M+) and it also seems to have a lot better ST potential, I think Odyns Fury and even annihilator need to be looked at more. As somebody who always played fury, it simply never feels right to not have key to press. As for performance having our damage on 1.5 min, takes away one of ours biggest advantages of having our CDs consistently up no matter the scenario especially in M+. It may be doomer in me but I think we will easily get overshadowed by other classes whos CDs simply do more damage. Last season I knew I will be under on some pulls but I will dish out consistent damage troughout now I just feel "weak"

Kind of? Your main objective is to use as many (preferably empowered by tier set) bloodbaths as possible. Our overall rage regen is lower than with t30 AM/OS build, which means you can't just yolo your rampage like before. If you miss gcds because you rampaged too early, that means your rage generation will be lower, which means fewer rampages, which means fewer bloodbaths

Kind of hard to explain in text, but say you're at 80 rage with slam available. You press rampage > bb > slam > bt > ww > bt; now both slam and ww are on cd and you may not have enough rage to rampage again

BUT if instead of rampaging first you do (starting with 80 rage) slam > bt > ramp (now at like 125 rage or something) > bb > ww > bt > slam > bt, you should be back above 80 rage and able to rampage again

So you basically get 2 rampages instead of 1

Because your slam cd was recharging during your first rampage

I think you have the right idea of basically alternating bt + slam/ww, the important bit is more that you should use another bt + filler if it's not going to overcap your rage so that you can avoid having gcds with everything on cooldown later on

There's no harm in pressing slam + bt before your rampage if it doesn't overcap your rage, and that makes it much less likely that you hit an empty gcd later on (which means your overall rage generation will be higher because you'll have more slam/ww to press, which means more rampages overall)
