For me, BfA had better story telling related to dungeons, there was less rng involved, no target cap so you could pull big, big numbers = fun = fun detected = target cap

Shildwall the big hit when the core dies, while you’re leading up to it dying spell reflect to limit the dot lowering you total health
Make sure you only have 1 stack of it also which timing wise with your off tank should be anyway

usually what I do is shield wall then channel fleshcraft about half a second after it starts the explosion cast
that way you have the 50% reduction for SW, the 20% for fleshcraft, and at that point the 400k is down to 120k and by then its pretty managable

Then learn on what can you reflect. There are some pulls where you can shockwave all the mobs so they start casting all at the same time, and you can reflect all the casts with a single reflect
