So........ I had pretty low haste and had just gotten 4 set on warrior, so HR really felt necessary to do the higher keys without flopping. Now that I have had sometime to practice it, I have been liking AM more for the Shield wall uptime rather than the Avatar TBH. Avatar is nice with the 4 set, but u don't actively feel the difference it makes other than being able to press it more than having shield wall up. you have to be very proactive though to have a high SB uptime with AM. That being said, there are some keys which it still kinda hurts to use AM at a high enough key level. SD gaunlet feels a bit wonky because u don't really want to be moving the boss around much because people need to spread for the bleed, but having any downtime on SB is just pain, so HR could possibly be played there over AM. But generally situations like that can be overcome with more movement, just ur group suffers for it
So all in all, been playing AM now until I hit another wall of death

It's not you if interrupts are missed as far as that goes. Everything else is pull management.
Skip trash that takes forever to kill as a single mob.
Learn your paths and what groups to pull together.
Low dps can completely ruin a key.
Ii was in a mists two weeks ago and the mage did 3k

Why are you concerned about the time it takes
It's literally a threefold advantage over doing a 0
which btw you're only elligible for 0 loot once per week
If you do DoS on a 15:
- you get max ilvl credit towards vault slots
- you aren't limited on how many times you can do them and there are also good items in there (death god's signet, OPC, etc.)
- you get scale at 262 and use much less valor to upgrade
