Id personally still run mikanikos in raid, the reason for this is pelagos requires you to do 'something' in order to gain a buff wheras mikanikos is just set and forget
Mikanikos also provides better stats as mentioned and I'd also argue that the higher burst damage due to stats being applied during spear means you can kill adds quicker, and there is alot of fights with adds this tier

One thing which helped me on avoid overcapping rage. I use a sound in my Weak Aura, for when I reach rage cap. I have a repeating sonar sound, which reminds me it’s now really time to spend that rage :> helped me a lot to reduce wasting rage

Depends on the pulls, and the key level, maybe u need to kite later, maybe u hold to burst a guy next pull, ussually slam it, holding a 45s cd even for 10s eventually adds up to a loss of 1 or 2 casts which will always be more dps wise than ava

i play several tanks. not at world first levels tho. all the tanks are fine right now. prot warrior just takes higher player skill than others, but if you have that skill you can really shine
the only issue prot warrior has right now is perception. the personalities have generated their tier lists. the uninformed masses review the list and decide whatever is on top is a 'must have' spec. anything not on top is garbage. that's 100% not the case of course, but some will not listen.
you'll see something similar from Race for World First. When the winning guild uses Brewmaster & Blood DK tanks, we'll get an immediate glut of unskilled BM and BDK tanks flooding the scene. it's that flavor of the moment mentality.

The scribes/bonesoldiers (the biggest damage dealers) won't hurt you if you're out of melee range so just run around in a lil circle

Almost hitting the 3-4 man Shockwave into spell reflect is also a nice mitgation
