if you are getting wrecked on lords of dreads there's a chance you could be swapping kin'tessa too promptly and one tank is ending up with all the stacks of anguishing

Yeah the guides say Kintessa's debuff is only fluff but it was 45% of my damage taken. It was a bit better with proper spell reflect use and just dumping everything on IP.
It was easier once we figured how to move the bosses properly and not duplicate the slams.

But what he was doing reminded me of the fun I had in legion. I've really limited my tanking in shadowlands as it just lost its fun, over the weekend I had fun with friends doing it, but like I said what I saw him do was insanely fun.

but unity on helmet might not be the smartest play short term due to it conflicting with tier slots

I just tested it and I think they don't count unless you're at 7 stacks???
Here's what I found...
Using a Revenge! proc and two normal revenges would theoretically be 2 stacks, but it only gave one.
I also tested two procs back to back and it gave none.
However, when I use a proc at 7 stacks it turns it over to Outburst.

With one Legendary and no Tier set:
Kyrian = Night Fae >= Necrolord >> Venthyr
With two Legendaries and Tier set:
Kyrian = Night Fae >= Necrolord* >>>> Venthyr
*Necrolord is arguably harder to get the maximum out of in Mythic+ than Kyrian/NF. When played properly it can absolutely be great but it takes a lot more paying attention to than just throwing a Spear/Ancient Aftershock down and calling it a day.
