If you’re pushing casual content then yeah you can still push prot warrior but if you’re aiming to push anything difficult, you’re gonna notice a significant difficulty on prot warrior that is/will be otherwise dimished or entirely absent on other tank specs

It’s still possible to play prot warrior in actually high content, but it’s possible in the same way that it’s possible to shave with a dull, rusted razor

Compared to every other tank it will simply feel inferior so just go in with that expectation

his rating was more for raid and has to do with raid setting. Vengeance and brew were rated under prot warrior because they bring no raid utility. He said that due to havoc and mist weaver changes, there’s no reason to bring brew or vdh for raid as the dps and hps specs will bring the raid buff.

Warrior was placed above it cuz we bring rallying cry, intervene, shout, etc.

Raid is all about making sure u have all the buffs and as much utility as possible.

That being said, any tank works for raid, but the amount of utility and damage a prot paladin brings vastly supersedes any inherent “tankiness” of a warrior.

I think lot of the guys here are upset with prot warrior for high keys (24+) than raid.
