Just noticed this now. Orbs in mythic do have a predictable pattern you can play around. Its related to where the mask is after moving. Its like people said here, they do an L shape and after you see it a couple times you will notice one side that L always appears first. So you can pre move the boss to that zone and just aim it at the remaining orb or orbs. It gets tighter on time as the fight goes on

Scale / aegis/ etc are defensive trinkets that have value specifically because they enable you to proactively do things that you otherwise wouldnt be able to do

and you are using reprisal am I right? If so then you should be charging and intervene as much as you can. If you're not doing that then you're not taking advantage of reprisal's full potential
