For the 2/18 strat you just swap sides, it' s not complicated. 1 tank 1 healer goes right at start. Everyone else goes left. At about 5 stacks all the people on the left take the chain. The tank healer combo runs to the other side ( gateway can be used but not required).

The people who took the chain pick up the other eye. Then you just keep an eye on the add hp. If it's a little imbalanced you send a few ranged to help the other side (if you dont have them stood in the middle hitting both already)

Just watched a video of a guardian druid take the entire slime pack and 1 larger guy in the first boss area of PF (22?). He had 99x Necrotic stacks and seemingly never lost any HP. Is that normal for druids? Seems like I can't take more then 25 stacks before running with Necrotic, regardless of cooldowns, which has me pull only smaller on those slimes this week.

As others have said, it's x2. The cap size is determined on-cast..so if you got some buffs on when you cast it the size will be increased accordingly.

So lets say your avg cap is 18k, you use the orc racial or any other buff and that raises you cap to 19k.
If you don't let IP drop off your cap will stay at 19k even after the orc racial has fallen off.
