I guess the first three things I see are

1. Try not to turn your back on enemies, on the first pull you could strafe and not get hit in the back so much
2. I see a lot of times where you hit Revenge or TC when shield slam is up, even on 1-2 targets... SS should be your priority there
3. Just try and cast more, you should almost never have an empty GCD but sometimes you're just not pressing anything, try and figure out why that is

so it's unlikely you are gonna actually need to set up your soulbinds in exclusive ways, just tweak as you go

mikanikos is the best M+ choice for arms and prot, and they can reasonably share a tree anyway since prot does not want the upper left potency

since mikanikos's trait there auto-chugs your potions

and you want to have that manual control as prot

kleia and mikanikos are both valid choices for raid for all specs, with people tending to favor mikanikos's simplicity and occasionally very useful spear cd reduction

for prot pelagos may be a little tankier but generally people just go mikanikos for the simplicity and damage as well

You can intervene someone in melee range without it moving your position/ moving the boss. Very handy.

You can use a macro to have charge & intervene on the same button, charge for an enemy target and intervene for a friendly. Super simple to press the same button to get your reprisal up.

The Revenge! buffs from Reprisal don’t stack if you intervene a friendly and then charge back. SB uptime does tho.

Charging in on pull or taunt swap is great because you’re starting w block uptime and a buffed threat-builder

@hard tundra @royal venture I use an Intervene macro that will simply intervene on my focus target; I usually have my focus set to the Fury Warrior from my guild that I run with a lot, so it's easy to both get shield block and save his arse when he's pumping damage.

Both Ravager and Spear of Bastion can be macroed using @player macros. 99 times out of 100 that's where you want to fire it anyway, and the easy speed of use is worth it. I also have a cursor target version on mod:ctrl in case I need it.

Charge weaving for extra Shield Block is a relatively easy technique to learn for extra defence; in M+ you can also use enemy caster mobs as convenient targets to charge at for Rage and Shield Block. A mouse over charge macro is your friend here.

Don't overdo Ignore Pain, but don't ignore it either. Applying it once and tracking it with a weakaura is the best idea. It's only necessary to reapply it when it's about to drop off. You don't gain anything from mindlessly pumping it when you could be pushing Revenge.

I recently switched from prot warrior ( my main ) to dh ( alt ) and started doing dungeons... And tbf dh is waaay too ahead of all tanks in taking less magic damage and has huge heal but prot warrior has its own advantages, Honestly I feel more tanky in the first pull of DoS with warrior and also I feel super tabkie against the pack before the mechagon with war.

The key to understanding Ignore Pain is to realise that reapplying Ignore Pain doesn't really gain you anything. So have a WA that tracks if you have Ignore Pain and how long is left on the buff, and as long as you have it and it's not about to run out within a GCD then there is literally no point in reapplying it.
