Playing without reprisal puts way more emphasis on effective block usage..
Like for example if you're using block charges while your packs being ccd for 10 seconds and then you have no more charges when the pack stops being ccd you'll be punished while you wait for charges to come back because you can't cover that sort of miss play by charge weaving/Intervening etc. Because you won't have reprisal equipped.

I just healed a tank yesterday in a +5 on my 180 monk with a group title of "2100 main tank".
It was a PF ..honestly the route he did was horrible but the bosses were even more horrible.
1st boss - stood infront of all the smashes and got rooted + never kited the boss and because no one was dealing with the small blobs they all reached the boss
2nd boss - rarely was in range of the boss so it was just casting shit all over the place
3rd boss - was actually semi-ok.
4th boss - people would randomly get smacked cause tank was not in range and he was not soaking the add.

you can sneak by both and not pull both, and i legitimately used that as an early warning moron test thing for groups, you could tell if it was going to deplete based on if that shit got aggro'd or not

Its not wrong per se to only spam revenge and not have SB up but thats only if you’re good enough to really not need the defensives

if warrior is using reprisal leggo he automatically gain a small amount SB timer when charging

Even without reprisal you can reach high 60s of blocked hits

So them being at 14-18% of raw uptime is just abysmal

I'd have to boot up again to check it. I think it was like 4k when the dps were at like 5-6k. Tbf they weren't geared either... If you're using The Wall legendary, AM talent and you have the 239 (since you're in heroic I'd assume that) conduit that decreases SW CD you can do it. The only one that might be tight is the 2nd combo. The others should be okay but really just have the group soak it.

I've been on my hunter the past couple of months and have used my prot in m+ mostly. I have the wall leggo, not sure what ilvl conduit is but I do know i have it

With a bit of practice then you should be able to do it. Also don't forget spell reflect, it won't reflect the damage but the group soak part is arcane damage and it should decrease it if nothing else. If it's looking like it's not going to happen just fall back to the intended strat of group soaking.
