I know ive asked this before but now that im more accustomed to the fight im gonna ask again; How do you guys handle the intermissions for SLG? Right now i take goliath and co-tank takes boss+commandos but he gets up to 3 stacks before he can clear and the damage is kinda nutty on him
same with the end of intermission he has like 2 stacks

There should be a crystallize right before you hit intermission if you're phasing into INT1 before 3rd skirms. Boss tank should clear there then take boss and commandos while raid burns intermission goliath. Int goliath should die before the next crystallize, boss tank comes in, everyone soaks crystallize, you aoe taunt all commandos off em, he taunts boss back and drags her out, raid burns commandos.
Then they just tank kaal til the end of INT1 and use the 1st Crystallize in P2 to clear (we grip out the 2nd crystallize during INT1).

Another key thing that you may or may not know is the second Goliath that spawns you tank to the side until first ravage then push boss to intm1 then kill Goliath youโll get a big orb from him aswell as the intm1 Goliath orb youโll be in and out of phase a lot quicker

True that, on one try I think I didn't have the rage to get block up as well
I'm still relativly new to the whole tanking (was only tanking very irregularly before, and content I could have tanked blindly) and with that I try hard to get used to pulling cd's in correct timings

as long as you save 1 charge for shattering pain you should be ok, and if you're tanking the boss when he casts it you can also reflect the last tick of shattering pain to avoid the knockback
also remember you do have shiel wall, you used it on some early pulls but seemed to forget it existed later on

Also, while AM is perfectly viable to prog this fight, bolster may be the better pick of you're struggling with effective uptime consistently.
I'm running bolster with Reprisal for it atm (mostly cuz we have no hpal)

for intervene I use 3 macros, one mouseover, one [@targettarget], and another that is one or two [@playername] of melee players that are always on top of me. I usually use the last macro the most since it's just an easy way to quickly get intervene on cooldown. But on certain cases like intervening the goliath's ravenous feast in slg the [@targettarget] comes in clutch

You can definitely intervene your co-tank, but make sure they macro a /cancelaura Intervene to all their spells lol
i used it on my co tank during mythic sludge, and he was able to instantly cancel intervene to avoid double hits

well if they're actively tanking something else you'll take the melee hits if you intervene. Like in p2 donnie if you intervene your co-tank while he has remornia, you'll take those swings. Sludge is a bit unique because of Giant Fists, if you intervene your co-tank you take the base melee + giant fists

ok misunderstood it a bit then. I usually intervene my tank mate on p1 as much as possible for a bit of help. But starting p2 I pretty much get tunnel vision and forget it exists

As long as itโs up for when you need it, no reason not to use it offensively
Iโd always prioritise itโs defensive usage (and, optimally, get it to do both โ I.e., pop it sub 20% for execute)

Yeah, you can run straight through. The first plagueroc marker next to the purple/pink is asleep so you can avoid aggro'ing him. Just stay left of the mushrooms and avoid the plagueborers as they run to the middle and back out. Time it and you're good.
And you're correct Brightlinger, the second plagueroc next to the "1" marker isn't actually there.

The only two defensive trinkets worth using are scale and al'ar. Al'ar is only good if you proc it and it saves time/wipes etc

ilvl > everything gets you there even in reference to rings. You can also use your jewlery to even out your stat spread, or juice the fuck out of verse or haste or if ur coool, crit. the big secret is that secondaries dont matter.
