the thing with all tanks is usually, there isnt really a "defensive vs offensive" tradeoff, the better you play your spec, the more dmg you will deal because it all plays into playing properly

The boss also does some sort or cleave that hits hard. U need to be ready with shield block/ignore pain. Also u might be getting hit by the beam which chunks your health or kills you.
If you reprisal someone, you might go through the beam by mistake and die.

Really depends on you and your playstyle tbh. Although Kyrian or Nightfae tend to be better. Necrolord is good, but you do really need to micromanage the banner with 2 specs that benefit the most from mastery to get the most out of it. Venthyr is fine for ST, but shows its weaknesses in AoE.
Kyrian is the most popular because of Spear of Bastion (on demand rage and a suck in mechanic like a druids Ursol's) and the free heal / cleanse with the Phial.

Once you have one of these any time you enter a zone where you might want a log (ie dungeon/raid/torghast) these addons will automatically start logging (in the case of ERT you have to activate automated logging in the options).
Alternatively if you don’t want to install an addon for it, whenever you are going to do an activity you want to log type /combatlog in chat to start logging said activity.
Remember to activate advanced logging in the options (System -> Network -> Advanced Combat Logging)
All these options will store your logs in your wow file inside the retail folder and the log file.
🔸 Second, go here (https://www.warcraftlogs.com/client/download) download the client. Select the live section of the client, select the upload a log button and select the fight you’re interested in putting up as a log and boom you’re done.

i think its a bad habit to play reprisal with bolster since you can achieve the same high sb uptime without it
