All of them are good at different things as of 9.0.5. Kyrian and Night Fae are ideal for general-use prot covenants. Venthyr is great if you plan to dps as Fury or Arms as well. Necro is good if you can coordinate with dps who benefit from the banner.

NL is viable especially if you buff certain specs (Fire Mage, Boomkin and some others), people still like Kyrian the best, NF is also good and more dpsy

Well that depends what slots. The difference between stats on shoulders versus neck are huge, whereas the difference between head and shoulders is much smaller, right?

on the other hand, your class/spec may have shoulders off of a final boss and no neck, or have poorly statted necks available in general
secondary stats are also distributed differently between slots, not just primary
a neck has over 200 secondary stat at 226, shoulders have 100
there are a lot of factors involved that wind up balancing it all pretty well
i'm not saying one option isn't better than another
just that the gap between these choices is often significantly smaller than people seem to think

hey guys, when you pug a m+ grp how do you deal with the route? yesterday i pugged as a tank and the grp just pulled mobs. ran from grp to grp. and then, when i lost the route i had in my head i did a misspull and overpulled. so we had wrong %. and then they said "wow nice route..." nevermind, i just finished the key but i want to know how you adept to misspulls? do you have an addon with the % every mob gives you?

I be havin' some problems with keepin' aggro. And I'm not talking about the normal problems like I need more ilvl, or I'm not pressing all the buttons.
I'm a necrolord warrior, so not only do I not have an extra button to press to generate aggro, but I actively make my party do more damage (I'm doing the same to me, but it's diminished, becase 400 mastery on dps vs 400 mastery on tank is a quite different matter).
Any ideas on how to improve on that? I'm 215 atm, the warrior is 13 days old, so there surely is a room to improve
