I once done grueling and long +14. 35 anima. Never again. It is such a MASSIVE waste of time. Not worth it in the slightest.

Cruise...it was an affix. In legion when M+ first came around. People hated Fort and Tyrannical weeks. But the player base simply got better at M+ and they needed to find ways to make M+ harder without making tons of new affixes and having to test them. So they made fort/tyran standard.
I'm fire dwarf/kyrian. I tank until pack is dead..and if it's lasting too long I racial, or phial.

Anexor that's one of the underlying issues too. Aside from being nastier to face tanking..keys are very unforgiving now. You can't just "jump in" kill enough stuff until hero is up..kill a boss..skip wherever you need to with a rogue or potion..etc. Your routes have to be locked in down to the single mob, for exact kill counts leading to bosses/etc. because tyrannical bosses are built around requiring prideful buff to kill quickly enough. It's just really off putting to a lot of casual players.
On the other hand..everyone wants to pvp now. (I do not) Why? "the gear bro..all you gotta' do is get to like 1600 to get 220 gear.." that's end of heroic, and almost as good as mythic gear.

So they don't learn..and so the dungeon routing is left to "someone else" who is that someone? The tank... Do they know the mechanics of the mobs? Probably not..dunno what to kick. Do they know what's dangerous on bosses? Maybe not. So the pool of people who can even do the keys well is even smaller than before.
As evidence by a bunch of people on my M+ friends list have just stopped; some still pushing high, some not.
