Hey everyone, could I get some advice? I'm playing Protection Warrior (Arctìc - Nemesis) at 268 ilvl, and I'm constantly struggling to tank Mythic+ dungeons from +11 and up. I play in a comp with a Druid healer, but I'm taking devastating damage, especially during big pulls. I use Shield Block as my primary mitigation and Ignore Pain as a rage dump. I'm not sure how to fix this damage intake I'm even considering rerolling to another tank class. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

The war mode quest can be done without pvp

Just activate war mode, kill rare mobs in that area or collect chests

also war mode is nice because rewards are better and you have access to the war mode talents, people don't attack you anyways

especially not if you're a tank

if you're alliance you can also collect conquest by gathering the war supplies i think, there's groups in lfg for that

Taking about trinkets I wanted to share a test Im doing and feeling very ok with the combo, at least untill I get smth from raid. I were using hearth from WS in combo either with the prism from Sky or Ultradon cuirass for more defensive, but today I started using the Withered saptors Paw, wich I directly bought from the delve vendor, and combined with the hearth I find them very strong, Im tanking so confort with them even tho lossing the Ultradon. Just my feelings for now. and for the guy asking, this IS an easy trinket to get, only change delve untill the vendor offers It to u. The loa's drum also seems to be good, and ur getting It on Hero track, both of them btw.
I have with these 2: 1x haste stat + strenght proc and 1x strenght stat + haste proc, seems good for me

for all tanks, if you sim you get optimal damage gained, usually from primary and secondary stats

all tanks have dual roles for primary and secondary stats, which means a gain in dps due to them is also a gain in defensiveness

if you hover over Strength, Crit, Versa, Mastery, you will see they have a damage part of them and a defensive part of them

same as any other tank

Haste we hard focus on on s1, because any gain on it will be defensive due to SB cd (outside of lowering SS and TC cds as well)

we only sim haste vs other stats in later seasons

in s1, we hard slot haste, and sim the 2nd stat

If you’re following the icyveins guide build, the problem would most likely be from somewhere other than talents

I was fiddling around trying to find things I liked, but ended up basically going back to default Icy Veins talents

Sometimes reinventing the wheel is not the answer
