I'm having moments of struggling where I find myself having holes in my shield block uptime and no cd defs up because i overspend them whenever I feel in danger, how can I fix that (besides "by not doing so")

Upgrading your shield won't do too much to affect your survival if you're having sb uptime issues, since the strongest part of upgrading a shield is increasing your block value, which makes you block harder, so...

Recommend not worrying about it too much if you're returning, though.

yep, thats what i thought. Sometimes on bossfights and stuff the tank dmg can be very low, depending on the boss. I will try to swap in those occations, when I can remember it 😄

I haven't had stances bound since midway through last expansion personally. I'm not the only one either. Being in battle stance is only like a 2% damage gain or something tiny like that (it's 3% crit and 3% crit damage). So the tradeoff is losing 24% damage reduction and this effect (which is calculated based on pre-reduction numbers so it's basically affecting any remotely significant damage you take), for a teensy tiny amount of damage. If you want to save a keybind, literally no one will judge you if you just unbind your stance button(s).

That includes the defensive stance button, because last expansion, they made it so you automatically enter defensive stance upon login

Has anyone created something similar to WA so that when rage reaches 70+, there's a notification to click IP? I've been thinking about doing something like this so I don't have to keep track of it, but I can't figure out what tool to use since WA doesn't exist.

Groups are so desperate for tanks they'll take the tank alts to 10s that have only done a couple 7s if main Rio is decent haha

Why do some people run Heavy Repercussions with Thoyugh as Nails, and other run Into the fray? Why is there so much difference in the top builds?

bcause m+ is about group play not talents, the toip ppl just play what they feel works best for them

the difference in ITF and HR depends on Haste level / and or comfort

if u are good at managing SB run ITF, if u arent run HR or wait till around 1188 unbuffed haste rating and run ITF then u dont need to manage as much

and under, dodging dps queue is a big incentive already

it would make me tank more if the tanks always gets loot tho

What I do is use Arcui for my rage bar, and make it so that when I'm at 70+ rage my rage bar turns from red to orange (the color of the IP icon)
