For the vast majority of the player base, Kira’s builds and strategies are not applicable
It’s would be like saying if I just eat like LeBron James, I’m going to be a star like he is. There’s a lot of compounding factors
So yes, we recommend 4/4 because we are not Kira and we are not building for the MDI
If you want to follow what Kira does, we will not encourage it but we don’t pay your sub

If we are talking not cutting edge key pushing, I feel like taking the Indom, LS, and BSV would help people with less experience tanking more. I just don't see why Apex 4/4 is the be all truth, because I feel that his opinion is pretty valid that those talents are also really good too.

Shield Wall (and prot warrior) is meant to be proactive. You want to use shield wall before a large damage event to prevent damage, not afterwards to heal. It’s not the worst talent but it also doesn’t mesh super well with the point of shield wall most of the time. There aren’t really scenarios where the extra HP from Last Stand is needed on top of shield wall to survive a mechanic

Hey boys, I just came back after a 5 year hiatus. I'm researching BIS and on trinkets I see so many "DPS" trinkets as BIS. Is it simply because they'd add str or haste or vers? I understand our DPS is more relevant than 5 years ago too. So, Do we just plan on swapping trinks based on the boss?

Most tank oriented trinkets are not worth running in most scenarios. We’re already very tanky as a spec, so we’d rather put those slots into killing things faster
Some bosses you could swap out for a defensive trinket sure
But usually unless you’re pushing very hard content, they are just defensive overkill
