In case you are unfamiliar with the concept, we always recommend simming your gear. Simulations provide an idealized "perfectly played" dps number based on the gear options you give it. Helps a lot with figuring out what pieces are better. While sims do not account for defensiveness, the general rule of thumb is that if it increases your damage, it increases your survivability (with exceptions for shield/defensive trinkets/defensive talents). Raidbots.com is free to use, and has a companion addon called Simulationcraft to pull a profile of your character to use

Like Happy said, BIS lists are only truly BIS if you have every other piece of gear on that list, as that list is essentially the gear that gives the highest reasonable simulation number when worn in tandem

Take prey, go to zone, find the prey world qust, do that and stay in that area click traps

if you get ambused by target, use the disarmed traps you collect on target for instant kill..

if you do that, then a prey takes around 5-8 mins depending on how you play
