True but some players might cause we had the option. IDK, I found it interesting but it’s nearly unusable now because blizz does some WILD things with it. For example fury uses rend as #1 prio so if you have 9 mobs rend and 1 more trails in its casting rend instead of bladestorm

Just incase you genuinely miss understand, the reason you prefer to press revenge vs ip as a rage dump is because revenge not only deals damage but it also can reset shield slam! It comes in as a “prevent over capping rage” only ability because you cannot do that exclusively with revenge the damage it prevents is looked at as a “bonus effect” your primary mitigation is blocking and effectively using wall, reflect, d stance, and demoshout

The idea is that pressing IP doesn't lead to anything. Revenge has the ability to reset SS and gives you more rage in the end thus leading to more abilities being pressed. If your IP can still absorb, why hit IP again? The rage is BETTER spent on revenge
