I think a big problem with DRG is that ironically you SHOULD NOT play it with friends
initially, that is
i think it is very overwhelming to learn
but when you play at your own pace and learn it piecemeal, it kinda clicks a lot better and you get into it
every time I tried DRG it was with people (until the most recent time) and it was just like run run run, fast fast fast, don't get it
its kinda like the opposite of friendslop which is funny

yeah maybe if you play it with other clueless friends its ok but there's ALWAYS the person in the friend group who ends up playing a ton on their own and gets rly into it
so that's pretty much donezo after session 1

but each time i've played with a few people, we have a pretty good time and then literally anything interrupting the motivation to play made us memory hole the game

Also I think the real juice of HD2 over drg is the cheatcodes

You dont need to track IP, shield block is in CDM and I personally use a bar, and Im not talented jnto sudden death but id assume its also in cdm
If sudden death isnt in cdm then blizz is expecting you to track it by execute glowing
