Do people run shield specialization much in M+? I am not pushing 22 keys, more like trying to do 18s. Usually I run it, but I see a lot of people opting for bloodborne on archon.gg. I get usually a key doesn't fail because the tank falls over to blockable damage, but I also don't really understand how much block chance and block value really are affecting my survivability. Taking bloodborne would be around 200-300k extra dps over the whole dungeon I believe.

I start trusting murlok and archon less and less as season progress due to how locked in those people are with their teams and usually they drop survivability things for dps because of that.

what are the prot warrior ways to clear movespeed debuffs, like black blood debuff in the last pulls in ara-kara? I know avatar clears it, is that only if you are fully rooted (25 stacks)? Is there anything else? I just got fked and often do by root -> erupting webs

I think you're confusing two mechanics. Black blood is the puddle spawned that when stepped in, spawns the ooze that roots you entirely. Then the other mobs that apply the stacking snare on melee.

It ain't a snare tho, it is a slow? Snares stop you from moving, but you can be moved. Roots stop you from moving, you can't be moved. Slows slow you, but doesn't stop movement nor things from moving you

I don't know the vocab, but I do believe avatar clears it, and avatar says it removes "roots and snares"

U strategically save avatar on those pulls. Healer dispels u when webs appear. If they don't, they're bad. Stepping in black blood roots u which can't be dispeled but u just save shockwave or storm bolt for that
U can also proc avatar which cleanses u too
And like they said, leap works when the slow gets too high

is there a way to read this log so I can see my block uptime % only when I am in combat? For example I die right here with it up but then its "down" while im dead. Also shows a big downtime running between first and 2nd packs. Not really good at reading my logs yet

Uptime doesn't matter. Go to Analyze at the top right, then choose your toon, then go to Damage Taken, then hover over the number in the hits column next to Melee
The blocked hits % there should be over 90

Hello i have asked this before to no response, is the general populace aware of the interaction between 2-stack Sudden Death and Seeing Red/Vicious Outburst?
This is a repeatable phenomenon. When you have 2 stacks of Sudden death and spend the "first" one, it subtracts rage spent from your seeing red.

You can run sims to find out whats best for you. Other than that there’s a section on the wowhead gearing guide that should give you recommendations for spending the chips. Generally there’s only a single item worth getting in hero track, and that’s brand of ceaseless ire. Soulhunters boots generally dont outperform over ilvl, so myth/crafted boots will generally be better. A solid trinket option would be hero ire with mythic pacemaker for example
