I am working on my 19 resil keys and I always used SR in DB first boss for dmg but on 19 I sometimes randomly procc BSV even with wall up so I started using it as defensive. today I miss managed and took it w/o any defensive (just IP up) and my health bar didn´t drop at all - any ideas? Snapshotting doesn't exist in WoW anymore with the sole exception of feral druids (and iirc that's also going away in Midnight). I'm not sure why he recommends TR before Demo Shout but it shouldn't be too significant either way.

My guess is you got lucky and had cloak + IP + demo shout rolling or something like that. You should be using a defensive on the beam cast in keys that high. BSV also procs whenever it feels like it and will often proc on pre-mitigation damage, resulting in your HP not moving but triggering BSV.

Class hall campaign unlocks the mount for the class you do it on. If you want it for another class, you have to do that campaign.

and got into sims by trial and error

picked up the APL, saw what was in there and step by step wrote stuff

sims are just logic programs written in a priority list

can prolly figure out a more sophisticated way to get into the whole shtick especially if you have experience in logic or coding

and theorycrafting for warrior, and a large part of wow in general is just applying common sense, basic math and a bit of critical thinking

and ofc experience and knowledge of the spec

There's no group finding resources in this server. Depending on whether you're after guild or M+ team, there are websites or other servers you can go to like wowprogress.com or mythic plus friends. We have no idea what will be good or bad next patch since we're still in beta, but it's rare that the spec of a tank really matters these days outside of early Mythic prog in high rank guilds.

Yeah, there are some seasons where in keys it might be difficult (at least, relatively difficult) to get groups if you're not the meta spec (e.g. VDH in the recent past). But you're still a tank which is an in-demand role

It's not the meta tank right now, but it has been often in the recent past (last expansion or so). Pwar has only been meta once or twice, but it's always solid

Of course, as you move up in key level, people get a lot pickier. So you'll see a lot more pwar/ppal in the top keys this season for example, and a lot fewer of the others (though they do exist)

Depends on your skill level I guess. I don't care about stuff like that so I just go for 3k outside of whatever random keys I do higher than that by chance. I don't think I could get title even if I tried, but I'd imagine it's "easier" now than it has been in the past with resilient keystones.

Not easier like the dungeons are easier but that you can try the same key repeatedly if someone has it resilient on that level, so there's less doing unneeded keys

Sort of. You get resilient for the highest level of key you've done in all dungeons (timed). So time all 15s and now your key can never go below 15.

Well horde used to have better racials and there was no cross faction raiding. So the best players were mostly horde. Now alliance has the better racials and there is no need to stay horde because of cross faction

Last season you had quite some skips that required a night elf tank. Now they introduced a potion that basically does the same as the night elf racial.
So now you don't need shadowmeld but the potion shares cooldown with your normal pot. So shadowmeld is still a bit better but this season there aren't that much skips that require shadowmeld anyway.
