It's not. I'm not sure I agree that it's necessarily a bigger upgrade than the other two. But it is the only source of block value and you would have the best item (highest ilevel) in that slot. If you myth raid and can get shield there, do raid first then pick vault

For the intermission, I turned my hud off entirely with alt+z and stared at the center of the moving ring, watching her move with my peripheral vision. It's the same way I delt with the cups/totems mechanic from Neltharion's lair back in Legion.
I find if I try to follow her directly, it's easy to get mixed up
What kept getting ME was her stupid clone summoning attack, cause they blend into all the other purples going on.
For her dagger, I figured if I strafing either left or right once they started, things tended to work out fine. It was only if I was holding still once they started that they'd get me.
It is a bad fight in my opinion. Not hard. Just extremely punishing, with the main challenge being "can you find all the purple effects going on in this purple room?"
She doesn't hit very hard outside of that, at least not in current gear. Brann occasionally fucking up the portal placements was annoying, but once I accounted for him sometimes screwing things up, that stopped being an issue.

My experience with it - colossus pros: bigger dam in big aoe pulls, viable PSF/Arak/FL, fueled by violence healing, better mob control with shockwave knock up, shield wall on avatar press. Cons: garbage ST, lower or comparable dps in 3-5t, cannot play spear you're locked in double roar, felt significantly squishier in high keys, locks you in improved shockwave, establishing aggro in some packs is a massive pain in the ass, also requires slightly different gear as colossus is very crit heavy and if you drop versa you will be even more vulnerable to magic damage. Too many cons to be worth the time
In ~3/8 dungeons you can do a bit more overall damage than thane, while sweating more and arguably it won't even be better than thane for the timer. The few seconds you'll gain the team by playing colossus in some trash packs will be lost by doing way less damage in single target. So despite looking a bit better on details in those 3 dungeons, you'll actually have around the same timer, but with added risk/effort.
