Hello, I did an HOA +16 as prot war, the route was clean, chaining big pulls, everything was fine but I finished at 4,8M overall
There was a big wipe, so you could say 5M

I just don't understand why I have 1,5M DPS less (should finish around 6,5M)
I compared my run with logs of someone who did 6,5M, same ilvl, same stats and route but it's mainly due to thunder blast gap of damage
We literally have the same number of casts, but he has almost 2billions more dmg than me which make him end up +1,5M dps more, does anyone know what's the issue please ?

For M+, your overalls will probably be higher with Pace, but you might find more success with the prio/ST damage for bosses

It's almost certainly going to be the myth track shield unless you already have a myth track shield

The only situation where you wouldn't take shield is if you have a 720 crafted. In that case, you could consider taking the myth track chest if it's an upgrade.

Doing it as a tank sounds painful/hard ngl but I have been 100% out of raiding I am even slackmaxxing doing 6/8 for brand after an actual garbage bin paladin stole it (he couldn't time 10s as a tank so he needed it ngl)

can't generalize at that level. M+ overall damage depends on a million factors, such as pull size, BL timings, pulling cadence, specific mob DRs, damage amps...
