Hello guys I have a question. Im pretty new to warrior I have never played it. In terms of difficulty, how hard is protection compared to prot paladin for example or blood dk ? How fun is it ? I remember trying out prot pala s1 and it was pretty fun to play.

Well, I think its pretty fun, your mitigations is pretty easy to keep up, your core rotation is pretty simple, but you can really try to min max the gameplay, due to its simple core, which is pretty fun I guess. Also I think due to its mitigation being upfront, its a little bit more forgiving than other tanks I guess.

If you have tanked before, it will be very easy for you to pick up

Maybe small, but work on your opening pull, you dont need to use Shield charge that early, using it on the first pull makes one of the footman arrive after an eternity, its also a dmg loss. Also use Avatar earlier, it helps establishing aggro and you should be doing your rota while gathering anyway. Prio first pull I always go, Clap first Group, Heroic Leap, Charge Pat

• Avatar, Shield block, TB and then run a bit aggro the pack on fountain with TR and then charge suleymann

I feel like you are thunderclapping a bit too much, maybe fishing for a SS here and there with Revenge might give you a bit of more dmg

your CPM (casts per minute) are maybe a little low, i'm normally sitting around 80-90. your Casts tab says you only pressed shield charge 3 times in the whole run but i'm going to assume that's a bug because i've seen similar. your revenge casts are very low- revenge is obviously our worst rotational spell, but you need to make sure you keep enough rage to cast it sometimes to fish for shield slam procs. remember that revenge is basically a rage generator because it gives you shield slam procs. i'd definitely consider playing the execute talents in 10s-12s and blasting big damage because you definitely don't seem bad at the spec. blocked 92% of all melees which is very good.

imo from this log you could definitely be going higher than 10s, your rage wasted is very low which is good but that might just be because you aren't generating as much rage as you could

because you're missing revenge casts and having dead globals, which is very illegal

Aren't the eviscerators a lot of random instant group damage though? That's why I've never gone that way. Like pot shots but unpredictable and can cleave if you're out of position (which pugs probably will be since they probably don't even know about it)

I got this Vault still pending from last wednesday (EU player) and need some help making the right decision. I'm already wearing a 723 one handed weapon, the Shield from Loomithar in a maxed out heroic version und the same neck in heroic (704). In a Scenario where killing Loomithar Mythic isnt the problem the next IDs, should i pick the Neck over The mythic shield that noone else in the raid (except of me) really needs? Its the Amplifier Crit/Haste one.

And another Question. Is it possible to delay my decision untill tomorow and wait for the loomithar rekill for the decision? What would you guys pick?

I'm also curious why every Guide tells me to pick "cabochon"-neck even though the amplifier-neck has haste/crit instead of haste/vers. What to do?

Champion Brand is good, but it's also relatively easy to farm. Losing out on myth items for that seems bad. Also, mastery isn't a bad stat.

At max stacks, it will grant a (stacks x value) shield every time I proc a stack.

It will also do (stacks x value) damage split between enemies. This damage is increased by the amount of mobs around you up to 150%. Does the percentage increase also increase the shield value?

When you have enough haste for good SB uptime sims will be your best friend. If you've followed the general stat priority you may even find that mastery is your best stat for a while.
