That does nothing, dstance has no added threat component. If anything, battle stance is more agro because it gives you a tiny amount of additional crit which results in very slightly higher dps and dps = threat.

Hey everyone, quick question on gearing for Prot.

Is it worth breaking my previous season's 4-piece tier set for higher ilvl gear? I'd go from 674 to 688 ilvl.

Sims show it's a very minor DPS loss (<1%), but I'm wondering about survivability. Would the raw Stamina and Armor from the new pieces be more valuable for tanking M+ and raids than the old set bonus?

When you sim the replacement, you need to add a second talent build that uses Heavy Repercussions instead of Into the Fray. Use that as the comparison.

Because you don't have enough haste to use ItF without 4pc from last season

Or I can save you the time and tell you that it will be a significant dps loss to lose the 4pc

it's a 1.7ppm with haste, so somewhere between 2-2.5 depending on gear? Vs. ~1-1.2k rage gen throughout an average dungeon? Average SD hit is 5-6mil per cast

You're basically trading ~1/16 your rage gen for an increase of 1/16th your damage through SD
