vdh isnt "liked", its the same thing every season: toolkit + comp synergy + self sustain - if all of these are better on a tank, then they are meta

Warrior has typically had good damage and been very tanky, more often than not, but it's hard to compete when you look at Prot Pal's utility, VDH's mass CC and grouping, etc, which prot warrior simply doesn’t have. It doesn't mean warrior is bad, but it does mean that other members of the group, meta speaking, have to compensate for it.

This doesn't mean warrior can't be played, people do it every season, but it does mean it is harder to push (and some people like that).

It's less about warrior being meta and more about meta existing specifically for a extremely small subset of the playerbase – the concept of something being meta simply does not apply to the vast majority of players
