If you want the answer the sim is gonna give you then it’s going to be haste to about 20k, then all of your other substats will kinda bounce around but crit will tend to be a little better until you have a chunk

follow the prio in the wowhead guide which is the same as it always has been, and/or sim

I think its whatever you prefer. I've seen alot of back and forth. Mountain Thane seems good with bigger pulls if you like that while Colossus is good for the samaller pulls that you just want to punp damage into. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

Vastly depend on where you focus is. As it only increases shield proc and not damage, any higher ilvl boot will be better damage wise. Defensively it also depends as you will have more predictable defense (i.e not random proc) so might not be so straight forward

Usually this means you pressed IP when you shouldn't've, but a small percentage of the time you're just gonna get unlucky and it'll happen after you revenge three times, in which case you just sit there for a gcd until you can tclap again or ss comes off cd.

if you look at active dps you'll see they are significantly ahead of me
8.2m/6.6m/6.2m for dps, 5.1m for me
if you look at bosses im closer, but its still not like im super close
as the dps players are better your dps goes down because you do not have mobs in execute range as long as you do when people are sandbagging you

if your healer is dead and you are in a situation where you need to survive alone - A) the rest of the group is probably dead too in which case its largely irrelevant if you live or die and B) you can stay alive for a very long time as either hero spec

imo theres zero difference between healing one or the other because functionally youre either leeching your way back to full while smoothing with IP or youre healing your way back to full while smoothing with FBV
before they nerfed tier and fbv it was doing a pretty substantial amount of raw hps but after being adjusted i dont really see one ahead of the other
maybe other people disagree but IMO ignore pain is a superior damage smoothing tool in a high level key because its just as functional on a boss as it is on a trash pull

not a 1-1 comparison but you can look at the two and see the raw hps numbers are fairly close
I personally find thane to feel signifigantly cleaner to play because IP has huge value on gather but to each their own. If you wanna be big fbv tank s3 imo send it

I think that kind of displays the other point, the difference is so negligible it's not really worth arguing because you're healing for like 90% of your damage taken when overhealing is taken into account

I'm not entirely sure how wcl handles IP capping and overheal
you can look at the breakdown and see I spent a good chunk of the dungeon at cap
it may be showing the unused/overcapped IP but as far as I was aware it didnt work like that
my understanding is it will show any overcast shield over the cap value
ie: if you have a shield at 80 and you recast it and it goes over cap then the excess shield would be tracked as overheal - but I'm not entirely sure thats all there is to it, im sure the calculation is more nuanced than that - but since it's an absorb that ebbs/flows vs a constantly ticking hot I wouldn't expect to see much OH unless youre taking so little damage it's effectively zero

Currently I have embellished on crafted wrists and boots, although from what I have read raid boots will be BiS so I might want to use a Season 2 spark now and move that embellishment? - Only played WoW since April so this is my first change of season, any advice appreciated 🙂 Thanks in advance
