It’s quite a bit more simple than you’d probably think. Press Shield Slam on CD, if you’re thane then you press TC on CD after that and then either IP (IP is mostly for preventing yourself from overcapping) or revenge to spend rage. If you’re colossus you prioritize spending rage on revenge a bit more and you want to press your demolish on CD. For everything else (avatar, demoralizing shout, thunderous roar, shield charge) you press those simply on cooldown.

So when you go in, you go left til you get to the tower, you kill the miniboss and the two portal masters in that area. Then if you look opposite the tower, there's two buildings you can go through. The building on the left, you go through and kill the portal master there, then go up the hill and to the left to get to the other miniboss. You should initially try to do all 5 zones one time before you try to do any full clears or mask runs at your gear level. You will get the full sanity resist then and will have a much better chance at success doing anything else.

Using the first workshop pull as an example because that one can be rough.

Your inclination will be to leap on key start, don’t.

Charge first pack, clap, shield charge. Throw ravager at left pack, charge rear pack and clap + revenge then body pull rear right pack

Leap back over all the packs to your dps and roar/revenge as they converge

Aoe taunt if shit looks hairy

And you can heroic throw stragglers that don’t get aggro as they group

You can get shield block up off Charge + Avatar alone; this means you get extra rage gen and can also send shield charge when everything is gathers so you actually benefit from its damage, as well

If you don’t I always send on first pack to stick it to me
