I was in this really lovely French Canadian guild back in TBC. Raided SSC and Mag with them. Quit WoW for a bit, but in Wrath, a friend paid me totally-in-game-money to level a warrior for him from 70 to 80. There was this quest in one of the beginning zones to kill these weird yaks or something that had a really terrible spawn rate and only a couple tiny areas they spawned. I was leveling a night elf (otherwise played horde exclusively at that time). Come across this lower level horde guy clearly doing the same quest, so I kill him, once. I'm finishing up my quest and get a whisper. Turns out to be the GM of that guild on an alliance alt and he goes OFF on me. I used to have a folder with all the screenshots saved but they're gone now sadly. It was craziness. Only mentioned the French Canadian part because you all talking about French guilds reminded me of this.

Yeah if you’re fighting a heroic raid boss that will die in 3 minutes, I’ve been seeing people say it isn’t really worth using

However if you’re going into a dungeon that’s going to allow you to stay in combat the whole time then it’s very worth

You can just sim it for different fight lengths to compare it against your other trinkets, M+ is a bit more complicated because if you have gaps between packs the trinket can be completely ass if it drops off all the time

How much more damage is eye over tome/pacemaker

Even assuming perfect play, I doubt it’s enough to move the needle in a functional way - are you killing dangerous mobs that much faster that it matters? When you weigh that against the risk of the stacks dropping and you’re wearing a paper weight - I don’t think that risk is worth it for the overwhelming majority of players

I have to concede it can be a good choice, just not for the majority of players

Here's some: add talent to replace intervene with 2nd jump. Make shield block cleanse debuffs. Increased radius of thunder claps and uncapped target. Remove spell block and just bake that into spell reflect ability
