For other tanks, I tried bdk this tier, it is fun but I wouldn’t play more personnaly (no push).
As dps I’m branching out to maybe rogue for next tier, I’m still considering things

I was brew in bfa but it changed so much I can’t tell about it, my fav dps is fury war, ass rogue, Hunter range and fire mage (gameplay wise)

That route is pretty bad all around. Pull 6 alone have 2 light spawns and 4 casters. So easy for anyone to get one shot without organized cc. Meanwhile pull 4 is fighting 2% worth of trash that does nothing. Pull 1 is lust +cds and you pull pretty much nothing.

Not to mention mini boss coming into your pull 6 that is also a caster.

Fair one, it does kinda play out different to how it looks.
Pull 4 the shooter dies first and I pull the rest onto Ameya.
Pull 6 half the pull is dead by the time Dumal gets there.

I think tanks, including myself, often forget that extra damage you take from being lazy is more of a burden on the healer. You very well could be taking healer globals that shouldn't be needed. Possibly leading to unnecessary deaths from others.
I call it tank privilege. I put up with extra crap so I get to make mistakes that dps/heals can't make but... They should be mistakes you work on improving not just doing because you can.

On a lesser note, the less damage you take is more dps you can output which gives you more of a chance to time.

Once you gotten a decent grasp of what is dangerous in there, and you feel safe. Then you can push yourself to go bigger. But this late into the season, most PuGers wont be in for the 'learning limits' experience.

So I'm pretty sure there are alot of attacks, especially in Mythic+, that are magical melee attacks, or spells that in their tooltip via MDT seem magical/poisonous/infused/etc. I'm trying to get the most out of spell block as prot, but I find myself blowing it without really knowing if its effecting anything, for example, the Creepers in Darkflame Cleft, the stacks get so high and I'll use it because I know its not "directly" a spell like, coming at me, and more a DoT that they put on me, but would that be a valid use to block that spell damage? Same question, for example, on the little spraying rainbows chick in Motherlode. The little goo throwing instant attack she has, would that technically benefit from using spell block? (I ask because it hits seemingly harder than almost anything in any other dungeon)

hey, I have been using mountain thane prot for delves a lot recently, i saw that the "delves" talent build on wowhead said to use colossus instead of mountain thane. what is the jist of colossus compared to mountain thane and if it is any better
