I just use a WA and when it goes to shield it glows so I know to press it. Sometimes I hold it though if the pull is about to die.

I can't say I've tracked it at all in terms of total stacks but the WA does count it so you can see where it's at.

Tclap revenge / ravager if you run it and aoe taunt if things are truly fucked

if you hit them with a "gimme a sec for aggro" before the pull/dungeon starts they usually will

I also personally grabbed big tclap radius in the class tree

I disagree, if I cannot establish aggro/lose aggro I carry that failure and shame with me. I then work to learn from my mistakes and see if I could of done better in that situation. My main job as tank is to keep my aggro if I cannot keep aggro I have failed in my duty.
