Ok so I got particularly bad vault options except one (Footbomb Championship Ring Myth 1/6 Haste/Mastery) I know mastery is the "worst stat" for prot, but from what I'v read it's on the guides its not that far behind the other stats, and my rings are 1/6 Hero (crit/haste) 2/6 hero (haste/vers/speed) respectively is that ring an upgrade? I can't find any kind of stat weighting for it in terms of survivability.

See I assumed Eye was BiS as well, but that isn't what sims are showing. Droptimizer shows a 0% increase over Tome/Viscera even at higher ilvl, and sims put Tome/Viscera ahead as well for me.

Question to the community. After the nerf of demolish and shield stammt and the slight buff of mountain thane - will be mountain thane again be more viable agsin ?

Colossus will still do more damage than MT,but the difference is smaller now,that's about it.

I like the shockwave knock up from Colossus. When in Pugs everyone is throwing their aoe stun within the first globals you still have a functioning mass cc

You wasted a spark but not the crests. Upgrade for your shield is now cheapo
And sparks are not that good due to very weak embellishments

Seems i don't understanding simming at all. I wanted to sim for my 2 trinkets upgraded from 649 to 655 and a 655 Pacemaker. Sim says even upgrading from 649 to 655 is a damage loss. How? (Dungeon Slice)

tome is pretty fantastic, it does almost 5% of my overall just from the damage proc, not to mention it boosts all other dmg sources due to the crit. and on top of that it even boosts your overall healing via the magic absorb
and its very low maintenance to manage.

For Crit you want 25% to reach 100% crit chance for shieldslam during tier procc
Haste depends on your talents and playstyle
There’s no point where say haste is fine. You simply have to ensure your shield block uptime
