RAM (memory) gets cleared when the pc powers off, sleep doesn't turn the PC off but it goes into a low power mode while keeping the memory powered (which stores the state of all your programs/etc) so when you come back to the pc it's right where you left it

Left side = get rdy to survive the combos. Healer must dispel you ASAP. Dps has to do almost nothing. Just dps all the time.

I prefer right, but you have to talk to your group before starting the key.

Prot tanking this season. Question about IP. Most guides suggest using it mainly to avoid overcapping rage. Is there a general feeling when to break that rule? i dont think so, its just opportunity cost. if youre surviving easily though, go ahead and switch to battle tho. build the habit slowly. i have my stance dance on an easy macro keybind.

yeah the big thing is that it isnt as big of a deal anymore, there use to be an associated damage penalty. but as happy said, whichever helps clear faster is the right way. like if i did a +2 id just stay in battle stance the whole time, while on the other hand, if i did a high priory id probably stay def the whole time. in raid i switch depending if im the active tank. no fancy tricks.

if you're getting to like 20k haste unbuffed you're probably going to see the value plummet compared to other stats but that was what my sim was saying

I have a signet equipped which could skew stuff a bit because it uses your highest stat, so if I get higher crit than haste it'll probably blast off in the sim

i usually hit 20k to 21k before i start simming stats, and looking at things other than haste.

everyone is gonna tell u to sim it, but id straight up take an upgrade on shield over most things, other than maybe a sweet sweet mythic trinket. you can always catalyze for your tier.

yeah, after I understood that it was the melees that hits like a truck, it got a little easier, but stills tought, sometimes feels like I run out of rage for IP and I'm like oh boy oh boy... but my main issue right now is big momma...

I'm still not 100% sure when to pop defs against her, and sometimes I'm too focused on the adds that I forget about her, but most of others bosses are ezpz
