Is colossus better for raid and st? Im looking at my ilvl logs and ive made around 80-90 on most bosses excluding queen and i wonder if speccing to colossus will improve my dps by much. Unless there are seperate logs for thane and collosus but i dont think so

WowHead is saying for Mountain Thane Haste>Crit>Vers>Mastery. Icy Veins is saying Haste>Vers=Crit>Mastery and according to Archon, most high end warriors are Doing Haste the Vers. Any clarification on this would be great!

Crit will provide you with more damage and more parry. Vers will provide you constant DR,especially against stuff like magic damage which crit does nothing against. A lot of "high r.io" tanks choose to stack vers over crit because of it. That said,you need more vers rating per 1% than you do crit. All in all, for your average key pusher it won't matter much. You will more than likely end up with a mix of both anyways.

In reality your stats after strength and haste do very very little of anything. So u dont really care as long as a piece has haste

Downside of WoW is that people expect you to know everything. You're a new tank or player? You better know the 20 different routes and perfect percentages ontop of all the mdi strats.

If you can get around the crappy pugs and people you meet as a new tank, you will be fine. Tanking is not hard per-se,people have just put a lot of extra responsibility on tanks. E.g routes,most CC etc.

I feel like I do quite a bit of research too... studying all trash and boss abilities and what not... running a lot of 8s for practice. Learn and adjust every run to do better.

For that specific boss when I watched some tutorials it was just them moving him in a square which makes sense. This strat is obviously better tho! Makes me wonder what other things I could do better and improve on.

It isn't hard to replicate how anyone is playing a pwar specifically, the thing you don't have and is very hard to get is access to the four other people in the party all also individually good at pressing their buttons, and coordinating to make sure that the group's dtps (and that includes the tank) is as low as possible.
