Shield block and IP like you said, really new players struggle with uptime (pressing on a button every gcd) that's not just tank i know, facetanking (not showing your butt), and rage waste i would add

In terms of tanking, keeping things in front of them, probably, and underutilizing defensives

In terms of playing Prot War, just not pressing enough buttons

Prot War is one of the highest APM specs in the game, and people just don't practice or refuse to press buttons

There's tons of logs you'll see from newer players or players who insist they're playing well where they get like 40 CPM off on a class where you should be 75+ CPM

Yes. Objectively. But here there's a relative choice: 3 ilvl on sheild (approx 500 armor - raidbots doesn't specify increase in block) vs 10 ilvl on a major piece e.g legs which is around 250 armor + extra stats. Also you lose crafted sheild embellishment with this swap of aroun 700 vers.

For arms it's 1% dmg and 0.5% DR per stack
