[Tome of Light's Devotion] has 2 parts, the default tooltip is only 50% of what it does:
- Shield Mode:
- grants armor and magic absorb
- Sword mode:
- grants 2k crit and huge dmg proc
after you cycle through "50 pages" of either mode, it swaps over to the other, you can force this change by using the on-use
after using the on-use the mode you swapped to is doubled for 20seconds
meaning 4k crit and 400-800k hits in sword mode
taking dmg advances the pages, ICD is 0.75s
on ST and smaller pulls it ~takes exactly the CD of the trinket to cycle through 50 pages
meaning most of the time you can stay on sword more to get benefit of the huge crit budget and ST dmg proc
staying in sword mode is BY FAR the strongest offensive trinket for tanks in season 1
however the trinket cannot be simmed as it is not implemented in simc and is only obtainable on higher ilvl than 551 ilvl during pre-season

There usualy is always something extra added to them

Most fights are pretty similar, but with an extra change. Last boss of Stonevault, for example, makes it so any time you clear your dot, the instant death portal moves
Then there's some where the change drastically modifies the fight like, funny enough, first boss Stone Vault, where the boss will now periodically destroy all the pillars remaining in the room at once
So you want to break some when the beams come out so the party doesn't get wiped

Warrior has a good defensive kit for everything that's blockable and currently the things that actually hurt us like bleeds don't scale high enough. It'll even out with the difficulty curve.
As for nerfs, they may happen or not. Its not like they made grand changes to the warrior playstyle since ... a while.

It's just cosmetics and up to you to decide if X weapon/mount is worth the tendies to you. Sometimes we've had way overpriced "bundles" of boring or bad cosmetics being like 450/600 tendies
Also you won't have enough tendies to buy things for multiple classes, so you gotta decide what you want

Generally crit/vers embellishs are recommended for all content, elemental lense for pure ST
That's about the extend that we know as not all embellishs have been available or are implemented in Sims

Embellishments you’re very safe with either of the threads as they’re just static stats.
The only real worry with sparks is if one of the items like the embellished shield gets buffed dramatically and you don’t have sparks to make it. If you’ve got cash you can always just recraft a generic embellishment.

Also weapons have different embellishments too armour I believe, so say you put the thread on bracers and belt, then the embellished shield or a weapon embellishment gets buffed dramatically you’ve got no sparks to change it.

You have to upgrade/loot/equip/what ever a full weapon "set" for other items to be cheaper. A sword and shield counts as a "set" (lowest of the 2 decides), while a 2h is also a "set" on it's own. Fury is the special case, and gets their offhand/2nd weapon cheaper because of this (if not, it would be expensive as hell for fury)
Both 1h and shield should become cheaper if you have a high 2 hander. Unless blizz f'ed something up ofc.
