That being said, if it does end up delaying your SC, you probably hit too late in your spell queue. As you get better, you might want to drop that value so you can be more precise with your inputs. That applies to every class and spec, by the way. Rven if it does delay SC by like a GCD, that's still fine; you can press it a slight bit later and it won't kill you

spending rage is very good for a bunch of reasons - therefore generating rage is very good
so other than longer offensive cooldowns, shield slam is top priority (generates the most rage. also just does good damage)
then thunderclap and revenge are behind it in priority since they can both reset shield slam
everything else is an offensive cooldown, a defensive cooldown, or a utility button
oh, and maintain the shield block cooldown as much as possible
that should be higher up lol

I've been spending a lot of time on my prot warrior getting it levelled up, and it's honestly wild how much more durable it is than my prot paladin. It actually feels like a tank. I can basically aggro and drag entire rooms of mobs between boss fights in a dungeon, can't do that on my paladin
