It's the rage gen on lightning strikes, which both:

• Already happen often
• The increase is not particularly notable, especially with the above

The rage gen is the main reason it's picked up, since it means you get more rage to cycle, meaning more Avatars, meaning more Thunder Blasts, which with flashing skies, means guaranteed lightning strikes

Just because we don't have death strike or healing spells does not mean we don't have healing; it's lower than those tanks that do have those, but that's because we also mitigate more damage upfront

Rather, because we're close to full health so often if played well and not getting clapped, FbV loses value because it can't do anything while we're at full health

Yeah that's been our struggle since DF beta

Our tree has so many 1 point nodes that are as strong as 5% dmg/surv gain

If not more

But that also creates the issue of only having rly 1 build and a simple class

Because we only have 1x 2 point (besides bloodborne which is generally not a good node outside of specific cases) node in the spec tree, and all nodes being strong, that it is quite hard to make a build that is actually detrimental to your performance

As long as you don't avoid rage generation and block uptime talents, you will have a build that will do just fine

You 'could' macro SB to whatever and be fine, it just wouldnt be optimal and you would run into times you wish you hadn't

Shieldblock in your SS bind

Same concept as having SS in your IP bind
