You could use some macros to group some abilities together on the same button with a modifier like shift.
If I may make a recommendation, I'd move Ignore Pain and Dhield Block closer to your movement keys - assuming you're using WASD, that is - as they're integral to the spec.

if u can, one solution would be having ur spammables on the mouse so u give movement hand relief to move and use cd’s.

i object Jakey, we are here to give our experience so people can play their fullest. therefore trying to give him good solutions for him to use to keep him away from clicking is also good. everyone with experience knows that clicking is a brake in gameplay. its up to himself to answer if his brain is versatile enough to adjust to something else. we cant only give him advice to continue a path with brakes on, we have to try to push aswell. up to him if he wants to try it

Jeah, if SS/TC on cooldown, and you don't need to spend the Rage on IP, you send Revenge.
Don't get me wrong, BT will still make MT deal more damage in AoE - especially on key levels where you can actively feed rage into Revenge instead of IP. But it comes at the cost of losing defensiveness, making it fall into the same hole as Colossus.

You have limited mental bandwidth, it's not an insult because we all do. You are using up a significant portion of that bandwidth looking at your hotbar and finding the right button to press instead of observing the encounters and anticipating/reacting to the mechanics. If you insist on being a clicker and that's how you enjoy the game then all the power to you, but try out binding one or two abilities to easy to reach spots on your keyboard or mouse. For instance, as prot your most used abilities are shield slam and revenge. Try putting them somewhere you can effortlessly reach with your finger, for me it's E and R, but could be anywhere that's convenient for you. Once you get used to that and you no longer have to think about where the buttons are, add one or two more abilities to keybinds. Then practice in some easy dungeons or a target dummy. Source: used to be a huge keyboard turning clicker.

I dunno, I do ok. It can proc a reset of shield slam as well as be a free cast. It also applies deep wounds doesn't it? It's also spammable so if I have a few stacks of SB rolling I don't need to worry too much about defensives. The point of my post was to try and help the other player transition away from clicking, because as a former clicker the game is sooooo much more enjoyable if you have other stuff to focus on.
