the second boss is just such a nighmare, have to avoid snowballing your self and others, monitor a fox thats chasing someone that freezes you or them if it catches them, the clone mini game, and then the daze tank only interupt
final boss just does a ton of damage, lots of kicks, so people need to live through said circles to be able to do the kicks, annoying trash (multiple reasons) on 3rd boss

Critblock total dam red is capped at 85%, the higher your base block per point, the lower the value of mastery per point. If you block 60%, crit block gives an additional 25%, lets avg that out on a fictional value of 100 rating = 2.5% dam red on avg. 100 vers rating = 1.5% dam red and increases the value of your shield and self healing. Parry would about 1.5% dam red, and 3% dam increase.
So in context it just isn't that good defensively.

Pres evoker mastery is kinda fun, you deal a ton more healing to targets with equal or lower % health than you. On my evoker right now I get like 78% bonus healing so it's very worth playing around, where you prioritize healing yourself first and make sure your cleave heals are aimed at yourself to heal yourself first. It's a kinda fun mastery but I agree most are boring

Was doing higher keys on DH, granted only 14/15s and have mained DH for the last 2 seasons where I have benched my warr, probably just more experienced with toolkit, managing frailty as DH and more ability to lock down groups, so less likely to have been gimped by the bleed.

but also even if youre managing stomps, if you dont have spell block up for the casts on that first pull, the bleed themselves arent whats gonna kill you

if youre doing any version of this pull, you need to absolutely watch 3 things: spellblock/wall, chain lightning casts, and chomp casts, thats it
and the first one is one of the most important ones cause EVERYTHING will be casting on you
and if youre stomped and stunned, youre basically dead since you cant block during it - that means no spell block
but stomp is easy enough to dodge

And it deals massive damage to the boss.
Everything else the boss does is really scripted in terms of "i do a big burst of damage now", so you just SW/IP/DStance and live it without any issues.
And then you have enough time between mechanics to Indom / IV back up to full HP.

Because for all of the others the debuff is literally the only thing outside of their personal control

Big burst tank-busters are a easy "Let me hop into defensive stance" scenarios if needed.
If you can sit in battle stance, do it. But don't neglect the power of Defensive Stance if needed.
